Building Blocks is a privately owned long daycare centre for children six weeks to six years-old.
Building Blocks is licensed by the Department of Education and cares for maximum of 32 children per day.
Building Blocks has three play rooms:
- Caterpillar Room (0-2 years old)
- Butterflies Room (2-3 years old) and
- The Cottage (3-6 years old).
Bumblebee Forest Pty Ltd is the approved provider of Building Blocks. Heading up Bumblebee Forest Pty Ltd are Ivan and Kim. They work behind the scenes supporting and running the business, please stop and say hi if you see them around the centre.
Our Philosophy
At Building Blocks we provide a safe, warm and caring environment, to ensure freedom of expression and the ability to develop an active mind.
Building Blocks provides a home away from home boutique centre where children ‘belong,’ feel secure, safe, cared for, loved, and nurtured to promote their ‘being’ through positive learning and growth.
We believe children are active and capable learners.
We believe in family participation and we aim to establish positive and collaborative relationships with families and educators.

When a position becomes available in the correct age group of your child, you are contacted using the information provided on your wait list application.

Once we have discussed your requirements for childcare, families are emailed an official offer of place.

A $50.00 enrollment fee will be charged at new family’s enrollment, which is nonrefundable.

- Two weeks (14 days) in advanced payment will be required at commencement of care. Please talk to our director for detail regarding your first payment. Payments can be made via Ezidebit or direct deposit into our bank account.
