The Centre aims to provide high quality care and learning in a safe, caring and stimulating environment. We believe the care of children should be an extension of the home. We believe in having caring, friendly, consistent and knowledgable educators who provide a programme that develops children as individuals. We believe by valuing what a child has to offer encourages them to believe in themselves.
Our Centres
DODGES FERRY CENTRE
Gumnut Long Day Care Centre is located in the Southern Beaches area of Dodges Ferry, 30 minutes South of Hobart. It is privately owned and was established as a 24 place centre in 1994 and expanded in June 2009 to a 50 place centre. The two buildings are purpose built and linked by an arched walkway maintaining the sense of a small centre atmosphere.

The directors bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from both Tasmanian and Mainland centres and understand the importance of quality care for children and families. Educators are experienced and qualified and are committed to a vision that provides the best opportunities for each child to play, learn and develop in a warm, happy and challenging environment.
